Aliasing

You are able to place aliases for your Storage Ports, Pools, Volumes and SAN Ports.
This give you possibility to assign them some reasonable names instead of numbers for example.

It is configured in configuration file /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd/etc/alias.cfg.

# Storage

# you can place there aliases for ports, pools or volumes
# Syntax: [PORT|POOL|VOLUME]:storage name:item:your alias

# SAN

# SAN ports:
# Syntax: SANPORT:switch_name:port_id:your_alias
SANPORT:SAN-switch1:2:ALIAS_for_port2

# SAN ports under Brocade Network Advisor
# switches must have "-BNA" suffix even if you do not see it in the UI
# Syntax: SANPORT:switch_name-BNA:port_id:your_alias
SANPORT:SAN-switch1-BNA:2:ALIAS_for_port2
To immediately apply changes run:
su - stor2rrd
cd /home/stor2rrd/stor2rrd
./load.sh html
Ctrl-F5 in the UI once above finishes.
